Meet Dr. Kimberly

I'm Dr. Kimberly Ligon, a grant strategist, nonprofit leader, and program developer. I work with churches, faith-based organizations, emerging nonprofits, and community organizations to help them become grant ready and pursue funding opportunities that support their work.

I often say, “The Kingdom of God is not broke.” God gives the vision, but that doesn't mean the resources will always come from where we expect. My role is to help organizations get prepared, identify opportunities, and pursue those resources with wisdom and integrity.

My interest in scholarships is personal, too. Throughout my own education, I actively pursued scholarships, fellowships, and other opportunities to help pay for college. I learned early that paying for college doesn't have to begin and end with student loans. Today, I help students and families explore their options, find opportunities that fit, and make informed decisions about paying for college.
